Whose gospel were the Corinthians saved by — Paul's or Peter and the twelve's?

The Corinthians were saved by the gospel Paul preached to them, not by what Peter and the twelve in Jerusalem had. Paul declares, 'by this Gospel ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,' referring to Christ's death, burial, and resurrection according to the Scriptures.

Les explains from I Corinthians 15 that Paul addressed even the carnal church at Corinth as saints, sanctified in Christ Jesus. Paul said, 'by this Gospel ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you'—not what Peter and the twelve in Jerusalem had, but what Paul preached. In verse 3, Paul says he preached what he also received: that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Les notes that long before the universe was created, God already had the whole scheme laid out; He was not caught by surprise, and the whole human experience was pre-planned.
