When was Galatians written in relation to the Corinthian letters?

Galatians was written probably a couple of years before the Corinthian letters. Paul's New Testament books are not arranged in the order they were written, so the canonical sequence does not reflect that Galatians preceded the Corinthian letters by roughly two years.

Les explains that, chronologically, Galatians was written probably a couple of years before the Corinthian letters. He points out that Paul's New Testament books are not in the order in which they were written, a fact he had already noted when starting the study in Romans. In the six chapters of Galatians, the apostle gives a constant warning that believers are not under Law but under Grace, and he urges them not to let people pervert the Gospel by adding something to it. This letter was urgent because Judaizers were coming back under the Law, and it is appropriate today because we face the same kind of bombardment. Many people hate Paul's doctrines of grace because they want to merit favor with God, but God says that unless they believe He has finished it, it will profit them nothing.
