When was the book of Romans written relative to Paul's vision?
Romans was written about 60 A.D., placing it at least ten years after Paul's vision of glory. The letter came long after that experience, not immediately following it. So the epistle postdates the vision by roughly a decade or more.
Les explains that Romans chapter 8 was written quite a while after the Romans came, and that Romans was probably written about 60 A.D. This means it was at least 10 years after Paul had the experience of getting a glimpse of glory. Therefore, Paul could write with full understanding, even though it was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
