What is the end of Satan's ministers who appear as ministers of righteousness?

Their end is eternal doom, meted out according to their works. Though they appear as ministers of righteousness and can shine like angels of light, they will stand before the great white throne—the place of the lost—and realize their faith was not what they thought. Scripture says their works determine that end.

Les explains that Satan's ministers are transformed as ministers of righteousness, though they are not actually righteous. Their end is eternal doom, and it will be according to their works. He quotes an old Bible scholar from England who envisioned these people standing before the great white throne, which is a place of only the lost, and suddenly realizing their faith was not what they thought it was. Les warns that what we see and hear must line up with the Word of God; if it does not, they could very well be ministers of Satan, the angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:15

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
