Les Feldick Bible Study

Where does everything Paul has, does, and writes come from?

Everything Paul has, does, and writes does not originate with him; it originates with God and Christ Himself in glory. His ministry and letters are therefore not self-derived but are measured according to the rule God distributed to him. That is the source of his message.

Les teaches that Paul will not boast of things without or beyond his measure, but according to the measure of the rule God distributed to him. Paul coyly insinuates that everything he has, everything he does, and everything he writes is not originating with himself; it originates with God and Christ Himself in glory. Because Paul writes directly to the church age believer, his epistles are distinct from the rest of Scripture, which is written primarily to the Jew. Les stresses that Romans through Hebrews are vital and should be taught, while what was written to the Jew under the Law does not directly apply to us.

2 Corinthians 11:13

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
