What accusations did the Judaizing Jews make against Paul?
The Judaizing Jews accused Paul of being an imposter who fabricated his apostleship, lacking any badge of authority or letters of commendation. They claimed he could not say he had walked with Jesus for three years like Peter, James, and John.
Les explains that Paul was under constant attack, especially from the Judaizing Jews, who said he was an imposter, that he had drummed all this up himself, that he had no badge of authority, no letters of commendation, and could not claim to have walked with Jesus three years like Peter, James, and John. They challenged him with 'Who are you? Who do you think you are?' Paul answered that he had been commissioned as an apostle to the Gentiles, and he noted that his letters were weighty but his presence was weak.
