What did Paul tell the Corinthians to put into practice in 2 Corinthians 8:10?

Paul instructed the Corinthians to put into practice the grace of giving. In 2 Corinthians 8:10, he reminded them they had all that, and now they should put the next thing into practice, which is their giving, and abound in this grace also.

Les explains that in 2 Corinthians 8:10, Paul tells the Corinthians they already have all that, and now the next thing to put into practice is their giving. Paul urges them to abound in this grace also, which Les identifies as the grace of giving. Les notes Paul speaks not by commandment but by the zeal of others to prove the sincerity of their love, yet because it is in the written Word, the Holy Spirit inspired it.

2 Corinthians 8:10

And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.

2 Corinthians 8:7

Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
