What was the main prerogative of Peter, James, and John in the agreement?

The main prerogative of Peter, James, and John was that Paul and Barnabas remember the poor—specifically the poor Jews in Jerusalem who were financially stranded. Their concern was that Paul not forget these needy Jewish believers while he continued his ministry among the Gentiles.

Les explains that after the Jerusalem council, the agreement was that Paul would continue his ministry among the Gentiles, while Peter, James, and John would continue dealing with the circumcision, or Israel. But the specific stipulation from Peter, James, and John was that Paul and Barnabas remember the poor. Les identifies these as the poor Jews who were now stranded financially in Jerusalem. He notes that this was around A.D. 52, about twenty-some years after the crucifixion and Pentecost, and says many people do not stop to think of that. The main prerogative of Peter, James, and John was that Paul not forget these poor Jews in Jerusalem.

Galatians 2:10

Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
