Where were the churches Paul boasted to the Corinthians about located?

Paul boasted about the Corinthian church to other churches located up and down Achaia and Macedonia, which were the two areas of Greece. As the context explains, he encouraged the Corinthians and pointed to them as an example to those congregations.

Les explains that after dealing with a church full of problems in 1 Corinthians, Paul wrote 2 Corinthians sometime within a year later with a different attitude. Instead of condemning the Corinthians, he encouraged and exhorted them and boasted about them to the other churches up and down Achaia and Macedonia, the two areas of Greece. These are the churches in view, and Paul then moves to instructions on Christian grace-age giving in chapters 8 and 9.
