Who reveals the post-resurrection doctrines and revelations to us?

Paul alone reveals the post-resurrection doctrines and revelations to us. After his revelations on the road to Damascus and in Arabia, he no longer refers to Christ according to His earthly ministry; rather, these revelations from the ascended Lord become the primary focus of believing.

Les explains that these revelations from the ascended Lord are to be our primary role of believing, yet they are often neglected in preaching and teaching. He notes that Paul, once Saul of Tarsus, knew Jesus of Nazareth and His ministry, but after the Damascus road and Arabia, he stopped referring to Christ after the flesh. The earlier revelations already established Christ’s virgin birth, Bethlehem, and the cross; Paul alone reveals the post-resurrection doctrines and truths. When we believe that the crucified and risen Christ is now the object of our faith, we become a new creation through regeneration and justification.
