Is there a great commission that every believer can fulfill?
Yes. Every believer is left on earth as an ambassador of heaven and a minister of reconciliation, representing their homeland. This is presented as a great commission that anybody can do, since it requires no special ritual role but faithful representation of Christ.
Les explains that the believer’s citizenship is already in heaven, so while we remain on earth we are ambassadors. Our job is to represent our homeland, heaven itself. As representatives of heaven, we become the ministers of reconciliation. If someone wants a great commission, this is a “dandy” one that anybody can do, unlike going around baptizing people, which the teacher says he would not be comfortable doing.
