What happened when a young couple with different denominational backgrounds came into Les's fellowship?
A young couple from diverse denominational backgrounds came into the fellowship and were having problems in the home. The pastor asked a young, inexperienced teacher to go to their farmhouse one night a week and teach them one-on-two. He was green as grass.
Les explains that years ago, when he and Iris were first married, a young couple came into their fellowship from diverse denominational backgrounds. As a result, they were naturally having some problems in the home. The pastor asked Les if he would go out to that farmhouse one night a week and teach those two people one-on-two. Les had never done anything like that before and says he was green as grass, but sometimes you plunge in where angels fear to tread. He recalls the rude awakening he got as he began to point out some things from this book, noting that the young lady—and he was also a young man, all the same age—was part of that situation.
