Which disciple did the Gentiles ask to see Jesus?

The Gentiles first approached Philip, the disciple from Bethsaida in Galilee, saying, 'Sir, we would see Jesus.' Philip then told Andrew, and both Andrew and Philip went to tell Jesus that some Gentiles wanted to see Him. Thus Philip was the disciple they asked.

Les teaches that these Gentiles came up to worship and saw the masses of Jews coming from all over the world for the various feast days, with Passover approaching. They came to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired of him, saying, 'Sir, we would see Jesus.' Philip then comes and tells Andrew, and Andrew and Philip go and tell Jesus that there are some Gentiles who want to see Him. Les points out that Jesus does not accept them at that moment; instead He says, 'The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.' Les uses the kernel of wheat to explain that unless it falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone, but if it dies it brings forth much fruit. Les says this alludes to Jesus' own death and burial, and that when He would die and be resurrected, then these Gentiles could come into the picture, becoming the object of their faith as a result of His death, burial, and resurrection, and really not until.
