What were the coverings of the tabernacle in order?

The tabernacle coverings were arranged in this order from inner to outer: first, goat's hair placed right next to the wood frame; next, ram skins dyed red; and finally, the outer covering of badger skins, as called in the King James Version.

Les explains that after the inside linen was hung on golden hooks and the wood frame was set in blocks of silver, the framework was covered. The first covering right next to the wood frame was goat's hair. The next covering was ram skins dyed red. The outer covering was badger skins, as called in the King James. He also notes the inside of the sanctuary displayed tremendous beauty, seen from within, picturing Christ and the believer's beauty in Christ.
