What does the inner beauty of the tabernacle picture for believers who are in Christ?
The inner beauty of the tabernacle pictures the spiritual beauty and loveliness that believers who are in Christ see from within. Just as the sanctuary’s beauty was visible only from inside, those in the body of Christ perceive a loveliness the world knows nothing of, and the tabernacle itself pictures Christ.
Les explains that when a person entered the sanctuary, the beauty was seen from the inside, not from the outside. He likens this to believers coming into the body of Christ and being in Christ: they see a beauty and loveliness that the world knows nothing of. The inner linen, golden hooks, and the whole intricately arranged tabernacle picture Christ, so the inward beauty points to what believers behold in Him.
