Why does the Bible start describing the tabernacle with the Ark of the Covenant?

The Bible starts with the Ark of the Covenant because everything from God’s point of view moves from Him out to mankind. Scripture begins at God’s starting point and then proceeds outward, so the tabernacle’s description follows that divine order rather than beginning from a human vantage point.

Les explains that when he previously reviewed the tabernacle, he started where Scripture does—with the Ark of the Covenant—because everything from God’s point of view moves from Him out to mankind. In this later review, however, he reverses the order, beginning at the outer court and ending at the Ark. Thus the biblical order reflects God’s perspective: He is the source, and His work moves outward to humanity.
