Will Israel ever cease to be a nation?
No, Israel will never cease to be a nation. Despite being dispersed for over 1,900 years and now regathered, God has promised to fulfill His covenant promises with His covenant people, Israel. Though many think she will be pushed into the sea, that will not happen.
Les explains that Israel has been in dispersion for over 1,900 years but has come back in our generation, and everything is getting set for the day when God will once again pick up where He left off with His covenant people. The world is rushing toward an end-time scenario, and Israel is being squeezed tighter and tighter. Many people think she will cease to be a nation and that the world and the Palestinians will push them into the sea. Les emphatically states that it is not going to happen, because God has promised to fulfill His covenant promises with Israel. He also notes that in the next chapter, Israel will receive the law, and he encourages looking up Romans 3:20-21, which shows the law was given to Israel and also for the whole human race.
