How long would Israel's elevated position above the nations last?

Israel's elevated position above all nations would never change until the dispersions. After God brings them back and finishes the end-time scenario, Israel will once again be the head of the nations. The promise was conditional on obedience, but God, being sovereign over all the earth, will restore that headship.

Les teaches from Exodus 19:5 that God told Moses, 'If you will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people.' Les explains that Israel is elevated to a position above all the other nations of the world, and that position will never change until the dispersions. Then, when God brings them back and finishes the end-time scenario, Israel will once again be the head of the nations. God can say this because He is sovereign; all the earth is His, and He can do anything He wants.

Exodus 19:5
