Les Feldick Bible Study

How does new life come according to the principle of death and resurrection?

New life comes only after death takes place. Because life is in the blood, God mandated redemption through the shed blood of Christ. The death, burial, and resurrection demonstrate that life emerges from the death of a previous life, providing forgiveness of sins according to His grace.

Les explains that redemption and forgiveness of sins come through Christ's blood, not by anything we deserve. He notes that God, in His sovereign way, decided that forgiveness of sin would be through shed blood and no other way, which must be accepted by faith. Les shares a personal idea: life is in the blood, and new life cannot come until death takes place, with life again coming out of the death of a previous life. That is what the death, burial, and resurrection is all about.
