Why does Paul never mention Bethlehem, Jesus' birth, or His earthly ministry and miracles?

Paul's singular focus is the preaching of the cross: Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, and the shed blood. He does not revisit Bethlehem, the birth, or the earthly miracles because his message comes from the risen, glorified Lord, not from Jesus' ministry to Israel under the law.

Les explains that Paul never mentions Bethlehem, Christ's birth, His earthly ministry, or His miracles because Paul has only one message: the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, the shed blood. This is the core of all his epistles; he alludes to 'the preaching of the cross,' not the preaching of Christ and His miracles. Les also recounts a conversation with a lady who said we must go by what Jesus said. He cautioned that Jesus' earthly words were spoken to the Jew under the law. By contrast, Paul reveals the very words of the same Jesus from His glorified, ascended position as the resurrected Lord and Savior. That distinction explains why Paul never refers back to those earlier earthly matters.
