What are the three stages of the resurrection of the just?

The resurrection of the just unfolds in three distinct stages: first, Christ and those who came out of the grave in Matthew 27; second, the Church’s resurrection, including the Rapture; third, the Old Testament saints, raised shortly after the Kingdom is established.

Les teaches that the resurrection of the just includes the believers of all the ages and is divided into three distinct, separate stages. The first stage is Christ and those who came out of the grave in Matthew 27. The second is the Church resurrection, which will also include the Rapture. The third is the resurrection of the Old Testament saints shortly after the Kingdom is established. He connects this to I Corinthians 15, where every man is in his own order or company: Christ the first fruits, and afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. That coming, Paul writes, is the coming for the Body of Christ, not the Second Coming. Les also notes that all the Old Testament promises and prophecies spoke of Christ coming as King, with tribulation and then the Kingdom, but Israel rejected the King, so the tribulation did not come and they did not get the Kingdom.
