Who was raised in the first stage of the resurrection, the 'first fruits'?
The first fruits stage of the resurrection was Christ and those who came out of the grave in Matthew 27. This initial company is distinct from the later Church resurrection, which includes the Rapture, and from the Old Testament saints raised after the Kingdom is established.
Les teaches that the resurrection of the just, the believers of all the ages, will occur in three distinct separate stages. The first stage is Christ and those who came out of the grave in Matthew 27, identified as 'Christ the first fruits' in I Corinthians 15. The second stage is the Church resurrection, which also includes the Rapture. The third stage is the resurrection of the Old Testament Saints shortly after the Kingdom is established, as referenced in Daniel 12. Les explains that this order is 'every man in his own order' or company, and the first fruits took place back in Matthew 27.
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
