Who was Paul's primary audience, and who else came into the Body of Christ?

Paul's primary audience was the Gentiles, as he was going primarily to them. Alongside those Gentiles, a few Jews also came into the Body of Christ. This mirrors earlier dealings where God dealt with Israel while some Gentiles picked up gleanings.

Les explains that just as God earlier dealt only with the Jew while a few Gentiles picked up some of the gleanings, the same pattern appears with Paul. Saul of Tarsus, now Paul, was going primarily to the Gentiles, but a few Jews would come into the Body of Christ. Les also points out that Paul did not immediately confer with flesh and blood or rush back to Jerusalem to look up Peter, James, and John, even though common sense might have sent him there. God had not yet given explicit instructions, only that Paul would suffer for His name.
