Who were the first group of resurrection people?
According to 1 Corinthians 15:23, the first group of resurrection people is Christ and the firstfruits. They form the first company in God's ordered resurrection. After them comes the main harvest, identified as the Body of Christ, those saved during the age of grace.
Les explains from 1 Corinthians 15:23 that resurrection unfolds in ordered companies: “every man in his own company.” The first little group of resurrection people is Christ and the firstfruits. Then comes the main harvest, which he identifies as the Body of Christ—those saved during this age of grace. Later, after the tribulation has run its course and an extra 75 days pass, the Old Testament saints, including Daniel and all the rest, and the tribulation saints will be resurrected in their company.
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
