Where does the Bible teach that the sin nature is inherited from Adam?

The Bible teaches that the sin nature is inherited from Adam through the Apostle Paul's epistles, where he alone reveals the true nature of the old Adam. This understanding is not found until Paul's writing, particularly as he explains it in passages like I Corinthians 15.

Les explains that while John 5:28-29 speaks of a general resurrection, it does not clarify the inherited sin nature. He notes the Old Testament calls the heart desperately wicked, and Jesus taught the heart was wicked, but it isn't until Paul's writing that we understand the Adamic sin nature is inherited ever since Adam. Les emphasizes that Paul alone reveals the true nature of the old Adam, and that's why it's crucial not to ignore Paul's epistles, such as I Corinthians 15.

Jeremiah 17:9

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
