Since when has God had a plan for the ages?

God has had a plan for the ages from eternity past. In the eternal past, the Triune God in counsel determined His plan, as evidenced in Acts 2:23 where Jesus was delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God.

Les explains that God has had a plan for the ages from eternity past. He points to Acts 2:23, where Peter, preaching on the Day of Pentecost to Israel, rehearses that they had crucified their Messiah. The key point is that Jesus was delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God. Les says that somewhere way back in eternity past, the Triune God in counsel determined this plan—not needing an afternoon to debate it, but in a split second determining it. In His foreknowledge, He could see every detail coming down through history. Les notes that from the beginning of time until the end of God's plan for the ages, everything falls in place exactly as God predetermined, even while men and nations exercise free will, ultimately bringing all to the end of God's purposes.
