What is Paul teaching in Ephesians about the believer's position?

Paul teaches that the believer’s position is in the Body of Christ, a truth given in Ephesians as a later, completed revelation. This prison epistle presents one Body, one Spirit, and the one hope of the believer’s calling, showing an advanced, full understanding of that position.

Les explains that Ephesians is one of Paul’s prison epistles, written several years later, when Paul now has the revelation he referred to in I Corinthians 13. The enigma has been removed, the steam has been wiped off the mirror, and he now has the complete revelation. Les teaches that in Ephesians Paul is teaching the position of the believer in the Body of Christ. Ephesians 4 declares there is one Body, one Spirit, even as believers are called in one hope. Les compares this to moving from third and fourth grade arithmetic into high mathematics, or to electrical engineering and computers, not forgetting the simple things but putting them behind. He places Ephesians as someone with a Ph.D. in mathematics or physics. He also notes that back in chapter 13 there were faith, hope, and love, and here is hope.

Ephesians 4:4

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
