How does God ordering things explain Paul writing the Lord's Supper words to Corinth before the Gospels existed?

God orders all things in His own order. Before the Gospels existed, Paul could not cite Matthew or the other Gospel writers, so he wrote the Lord's Supper words to Corinth by revelation. Thus Paul quoted Jesus chronologically first in Scripture, before the Gospels were written, showing divine timing.

Les explains that this is the first time the Lord's Supper is explained, and one commentator notes it is probably the first time Jesus is quoted chronologically in Scripture, because the Gospels had not yet been written. Paul could not go back to Matthew or another Gospel writer and say it came by revelation. Les marvels that God does everything in His own order: before the Gospels were written, Paul writes the very same words to the Corinthians. The doctrinal reason is that eating the bread and drinking the cup shows forth the Lord's death. Les also points out there is no stipulation as to how often a church practices the Lord's Supper.
