Will the resurrections happen in a jumbled way or in order?

Paul teaches in I Corinthians chapter 15 that the resurrections are not a great big jumbled-up affair. Instead, every man rises in his own particular order. Just as God is a God of order, the resurrection will be orderly and organized, not a hobnob or mob-like event.

Les explains that God is a God of order, and this principle is seen in Israel’s camp moving as an organized army, not a mob, with all the tribes in their rightful order. The same order was prescribed in temple worship. Likewise, when Paul teaches the resurrections in I Corinthians chapter 15, he says every man will be raised in his own order. Therefore, the resurrections will not be a great big jumbled-up affair but an orderly resurrection.

1 Corinthians 15:23

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
