What did Paul deliver to the Corinthians that he also received?

Paul delivered the gospel he also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, for the sins of all people—Corinthians, America, Europe, the Orient—and that He was buried. This was the fulfillment of God's design to take upon Himself men's sin.

Les explains that Paul delivered exactly what he also received. Paul says, "I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received," and then defines it: the gospel that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. This death was not only for Israel's sins but for the sins of the pagan Corinthians, America, Europe, and the Orient—He died for them all. Paul also states that Christ was buried. Les notes this was the fulfillment of God's whole design from day one, that He would take upon Himself men's sin. Paul received these doctrines by direct revelation after the Damascus road, separated from the Twelve, and then ministered among the Gentiles across Asia Minor and into Greece, where Corinth is.

1 Corinthians 15:3

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

From whom did Paul receive the gospel?

Paul did not receive the gospel from Jesus of Nazareth during His earthly ministry; it came from the risen, glorified Lord, who stopped him outside Damascus and revealed it to him in the desert.
