Where in the Old Testament does God give Israel the instructions for the Passover lamb?

In the Old Testament, the instructions for the Passover lamb are given in Exodus chapter 12. There God commands Moses and the nation of Israel to take an unblemished male lamb from the flock, either from the sheep or the goats, and to keep it until the fourteenth day of the month.

Les teaches that after the plagues in Egypt and the horrors of slavery under the Egyptian slave masters, Pharaoh told Moses never to come back. Then in Exodus chapter 12, God gives Moses and the nation of Israel the instructions for the Passover lamb. The lamb was to be taken from the flock without blemish, a male of the first year, either from the sheep or the goats. Verses 5 and 6 say they were to keep it for three days until the fourteenth day of that month. All of Israel was to have a Passover lamb at their disposal. Les goes back to this Old Testament foundation to show how it fits with the rest of Scripture.
