What future position do believers have with Christ?
Believers are destined to rule and reign with Christ in His earthly kingdom. Their future position includes judging and governing angels, who will be beneath them. This exalted place is waiting for them, and because God has prepared such a future, they can trust Him for matters of this life.
Les teaches that the word "judge" in this context goes back to government and ruling. He explains that believers will rule over angels, and angels will even be beneath them. He says this is the position waiting for believers someday: they will rule and reign with Christ and be above the hosts of the angels as they rule and reign with Him on that earthly kingdom. Les then applies this by asking, if believers can have that kind of future, how much more can they trust God for things that pertain to this life. He adds that believers are somebody when God is in it.
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
