How was Paul present when the Corinthian church gathered in 1 Corinthians 5:4?

Paul was present in spirit, not physically. Though he was across the Aegean Sea in Ephesus, he told the Corinthian church that when they gathered in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, his spirit would be with them, along with the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In verse 4, when the local church comes together—what many today might call a business meeting—Paul says his spirit would be present even though he was across the Aegean Sea over in Ephesus at the time. The gathering was in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with His power, to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, not the soul and spirit.
