Why did Paul stay and work with Aquila and Priscilla in Corinth?

Paul stayed and labored with Aquila and Priscilla because he shared their occupation as tentmakers. Scripture states that being of the same craft, he abode with them and worked. During that time he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath and persuaded Jews and Greeks. His constant theme was the Gospel.

Les explains that Paul came to Corinth and found Aquila, a Jew from Pontus lately come from Italy with his wife Priscilla because of the demand to depart from Rome. Paul came to Priscilla and Aquila in Corinth. Because he was of the same craft, he abode with them and worked, for by their occupation they were tent makers. As they spent daily time at their trade, Les points out that Paul constantly talked about his Gospel—that was all Paul could talk about. Paul also reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath and persuaded Jews and Greeks. Les compares this to visiting acquaintances and talking for hours about the things of the Word rather than weather or politics, saying that is as it should be, and it was the same way with these three people.

Acts 18:3

And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
