What does Les say about Sunday School material?

Sunday School material, as good as it may be, is still so shallow. It does not get into the deep things; believers must let the Holy Spirit take them into the deep things of God's Word. There is concern that people are not getting in-depth preaching or teaching from the Word.

Les explains that he is concerned because of what he hears from people all across the land: they are not getting in-depth preaching or teaching from the Word. He says it is all so shallow, and he has felt that way for years. Too much Sunday School material, as good as it may be, is still shallow and does not get into the deep things. Paul admonishes that we must let the Holy Spirit take us into the deep things of God's Word.

1 Corinthians 2:10

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

What concern does Les express about preaching and teaching today?

The concern expressed is that people across the land are not receiving in-depth preaching or teaching from the Word; it is all so shallow. Much Sunday School material, though good, remains shallow and does not get into the deep things, which Paul admonishes believers to let the Holy Spirit teach.
