What did the Law of Judaism consist of by the time Christ came to Israel?

By the time Christ came to Israel, the Law of Judaism was no longer merely the Ten Commandments. It had been watered down with man-made laws, rules, regulations, and traditions—a hundred and some rules and regulations—so that Judaism had become just another religion.

Les explains that when Israel was living under the Law, even during Christ's earthly ministry, it was a far cry from the pure Law of Moses. By the time Christ came to the nation of Israel, it was not just the Ten Commandments that made up the Law. There were a hundred and some rules and regulations that now comprised the Law of Judaism. It had been watered down with man-made laws and rules and regulations. Judaism had become just another religion. Paul had been steeped in the Jews religion, profited in it above many equals, and was exceedingly zealous of the word of God, but it was traditions. He persecuted the Church beyond measure.
