What did Jesus instruct Paul to do regarding the Jerusalem meeting?

The Lord Jesus Himself instructed Paul to go up to Jerusalem to attend a meeting with the twelve and the Jerusalem leaders. Paul went up by revelation, not by human direction, and communicated the gospel he preached among the Gentiles, as recorded in Galatians chapter 2.

Les explains that the Lord Jesus Himself instructed the apostle Paul to go up to Jerusalem to meet with the twelve and the Jerusalem leaders. Paul went up by revelation, meaning Christ led him, not flesh and blood. He communicated the gospel he preached among the Gentiles. Les points out that this gospel was totally different from what Peter and the eleven preached to the Jew, though it is the same God. The word 'communicated' means absolute clarity. This meeting occurred 14 years after Paul's conversion, and he took Barnabas and Titus with him.

Galatians 2:2

And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
