Do the four gospels belong to the Old Testament or the New Testament?

The four gospels belong to the Old Testament, because everything recorded in them takes place before Christ is crucified. They contain no mention of the shed blood of Christ, since that event had not yet happened. On this side of the cross, believers approach God on the basis of Christ's blood.

Les explains that a gentleman wrote him a note saying that before Christ died, sinners approached God on the basis of animal blood, but on this side of the cross we approach God on the basis of Christ's blood, which tells him that the gospels really belong to the Old Testament. Les agrees, pointing out that everything in the gospels is before Christ is crucified. There is nothing in the four gospels about the shed blood of Christ, because it had not happened yet. He also notes that there is no direct communication between Jesus and sinful men once He ascended back to glory, except the apostle Paul, who received revelation from the ascended glory after the work of the cross.
