Who did Jesus communicate with directly after His ascension?

After His ascension, Jesus communicated directly with the apostle Paul, revealing truth from His ascended glory after the work of the cross. Paul claims he saw the Lord face to face and that the Lord revealed these things, making him the exception to no direct communication between Jesus and sinful men after the ascension.

Les explains that what Jesus said to the apostle Paul was from the ascended glory after the work of the cross, and that this makes all the difference. He points out there is no direct communication between Jesus and sinful men once He ascended back to glory, except this man, Paul. Paul claims over and over that he saw the Lord face to face and that the Lord revealed these things. Les notes Paul never had a face-to-face confrontation with Christ in His earthly ministry, but he had quite a few after the work of the cross. Les also relates a gentleman's note: before Christ died, sinners approached God on the basis of animal blood, but on this side of the cross, we approach God on the basis of Christ's blood. Les agrees the gospels really belong to the Old Testament era, since everything in the gospels is before Christ is crucified and there is nothing in the four gospels of the shed blood of Christ—it hadn't happened yet. Paul knows Christ crucified, as Les later points to 1 Corinthians 1:18 and Galatians 1:11.
