Les Feldick Bible Study

What should you do if you have leadership ability in the church?

If you have the ability to lead in the local church and people are willing to follow you, you should get after it and get to work. Put that ability to work for the local church, and be sure to give God the credit. This is the practical response for leadership in the church.

Les explains that this instruction relates to the working of the local church. Not everybody has the ability to be a leader in the local church, but if you do have that leadership ability—if people are willing to follow you—then get after it. Get to work, and give God the credit. He also describes other gifts, such as giving and mercy, but for leadership the application is active service: lead, work, and credit God rather than taking the credit yourself.
