Do believers have to follow a prescribed ritual like religious people do?

No. Set free believers are not required to follow a prescribed ritual as religious people or Jews do. Instead, they are individually accountable to God alone and simply stay in tune with Him, doing what He leads them to do as their logical, practical service.
