Les Feldick Bible Study

Does Israel get blessed immediately when God turns back to them?

No. When God turns back to Israel after the Church is raptured, they must first pass through the seven-year tribulation. Their blindness falls away as the tribulation begins, but they do not enjoy the blessings of Christ's return until after that period.

Les explains that once the Body of Christ is complete and raptured, God turns back to the Jew. However, Israel does not receive blessing immediately. The Jew must go through the seven years of tribulation before enjoying all the blessings of Christ's return. As soon as the Church is gone, II Thessalonians chapter 2 shows the Antichrist appears and the world enters that seven-year period, which is predominantly the time God starts dealing with Israel. Their blindness falls away when the Church is gone and the tribulation begins, but the actual blessing follows the tribulation. Les also contrasts the fullness of the Gentiles in Romans 11, which refers to Church Age believers, with the unbelieving Gentiles of Luke 21.
