Has the promise in Genesis 12:3 ever been abrogated?

No. The promise God gave to Abraham in Genesis 12:3 has never been abrogated. God has never taken it away, Paul never refuted it, and no one else has. God declared He would bless those who bless Abraham, curse those who curse him, and that all families of the earth would be blessed in him.

Les teaches that Genesis 12:3 has never been abrogated. He explains that God has never taken this promise away, Paul has never refuted it, and no one else has. The promise says God will bless those who bless Abraham, curse those who curse him, and in Abraham all families of the earth will be blessed—not just Israel, but all families of the earth. Les also notes that from the time this promise was given to Abraham until Paul went to the Gentiles, Israel enjoyed the fatness of the root of Abraham. The surrounding olive-tree illustration shows Gentiles being grafted into that which was originally Israel, but the promise itself remains intact.

Genesis 12:3

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
