Who will come out of David's royal family, and to whom will he come?

Out of David's royal family will come the King of kings, the Lord of lords—Christ, born of Mary with Joseph as legal father. He will come to the nation of Israel, just as He came the first time, and will return to the Mount.

Les explains that in 2 Samuel chapter 7 David is promised that from his loins would come a royal house, a royal family of kings who would rule and reign over Israel. Through that line of kings would one day come the King of kings. That was Christ, born of Mary with Joseph as His legal father, and both Mary and Joseph came down those royal family bloodlines of David and Solomon. Les points out God's promise in verse 16 that David's house and kingdom would be established forever. He stresses that God doesn't lie and cannot lie. Out of David's royal family would come the King of kings and Lord of lords, and He is going to come as He did the first time to the nation of Israel, which is why they have to be in the Middle East at the time of His coming. He is going to come back to the Mount.

2 Samuel 7:16

And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
