What role do Paul's epistles play in the Christian faith?
Paul’s epistles are the bedrock of the Christian faith. They provide the clear view of salvation by grace, through faith, plus nothing. Believers must move into these epistles to understand that core doctrine, even as some dismiss or reject Paul and his writings.
Les explains that at the turn of the century a gentleman sensed people were already ignoring Paul’s epistles, and today many even say Paul’s epistles shouldn’t be in the Bible, calling him a nut or dismissing his Damascus road experience as an epileptic seizure. Despite such statements, Les teaches that Paul’s epistles are the bedrock of our Christian faith. He stresses that we have to move into Paul’s epistles if we are going to get a clear view of salvation by grace, through faith, plus nothing.
