What would the seed of the woman do to bring blessing?

The promised seed of the woman, Jesus Christ, would bring blessing by going to the cross, being raised from the dead, and becoming the epitome of the salvation experience. Through Abraham's seed, all nations of the world would be blessed.

Les explains that the seed of the woman is always a reference to Jesus Christ, the One promised back in Genesis chapter 3. This also connects to the Abrahamic covenant of Genesis chapter 12, where through that man all the nations of the world would be blessed. Les then asks how we would be blessed and answers that it is through that seed of the woman who would go to the cross, who would be raised from the dead, and would become the very epitome of our salvation experience.

Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
