Why aren't European nations the recipients of the covenant promises?
The covenant promises belong to the nation of Israel, not to European nations. British Israelism wrongly claims America, Great Britain, and Scandinavian nations inherit them as offspring of the ten lost tribes. Their ancestors were as lost as they could be, and the promises remain Israel's.
Les explains that God's offer of salvation goes just as much to the Arab as to the Jew, but the covenant promises belong to the nation of Israel. He rejects British Israelism, which claims America, Great Britain, and some Scandinavian nations are now recipients of the promises because they are offspring of the ten lost tribes. He says our European ancestors were as lost as they could be, and they still are, but the promises belong to Israel. He then points to Deuteronomy chapter 30, verse 1, where God speaks of blessings and the curse and Israel being driven among all the nations, showing that Israel would be dispersed more than once.
