What is the 8th sign in the book of John and where is it found?
The 8th sign in John's Gospel is the miracle of new beginnings, found in the last chapter of John. Unlike the first seven signs, which occurred before Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, this eighth sign is distinct and represents new beginnings.
Les teaches that there are 8 signs in John's Gospel, and all 8 are miracles. Seven of those signs took place before Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, which completed all that had to be done. The 8th sign and miracle is found in the last chapter of the book of John, and it is the sign of new beginnings. Les notes this theme of new beginnings runs all through Scripture and plans to examine the first seven signs before returning to the eighth.
