Did David lose his salvation after his sin with Bathsheba?

No. Although David committed adultery with Bathsheba and arranged Uriah’s death, he remained a believer and did not lose his salvation. His salvation was secure, and his deep conviction and begging for forgiveness demonstrated that he was a true child of God.

Les explains that David truly fell into great sin and was a believer, yet he did not lose his salvation. Grace is not license; believers are secure, but they should never think they can do whatever they want. David, before the age of grace, knew how to beg for forgiveness after being convicted of adultery with Bathsheba and murdering Uriah. His heartfelt Psalms and sweat-drop repentance showed he was a true child of God; otherwise, his sin would never have bothered him.
