Les Feldick Bible Study

How should we study Scripture according to Les?

Scripture should be studied by using more than one verse at a time. Instead of relying on a single verse, we should cross-reference other passages, such as comparing Romans with Ephesians, so that the same truth is confirmed by multiple portions of Scripture.

Les teaches that the way to study Scripture is to use more than just one verse at a time. After examining a passage, he says, 'Let's look at another cross reference, because after all I think that's where we to study the Scripture is to use more than just one verse at a time.' He then demonstrates this method by turning from Romans to Ephesians chapter 2, where Paul has almost the same identical language. This cross-referencing approach allows multiple passages to confirm and clarify the same truth, rather than isolating a single verse.
